Medicare Flu Shot Coverage

Medicare Part B covers one flu shot per flu season.

With Original Medicare, you won’t pay for a flu shot if your doctor or qualified health care provider accepts the assignment to give you a flu shot.  This means the provider has an agreement with Medicare to accept the amount Medicare provides for the service.  In turn the provider will not bill you for more than your Medicare deductible, or coinsurance.

You can read more here at Medicare.gov where there are additional links to flu season resources and other information available.
