Glaucoma and its symptoms can be managed to keep from progressing.
What is glaucoma?
It’s a condition of the eyes that can damage the optic nerves, and lead to blindness! Many folks who develop glaucoma don’t even know it until some of the more severe symptoms start setting in.
If caught early, it’s possible to prevent serious vision loss from glaucoma.
What can you do?
You should try and get a screening from a registered ophthalmologist. They can check out your eyes, and let you know if you are at risk for developing a serious problem.
If you have Medicare part B coverage, and are in a high risk category, a yearly glaucoma screening is available to you!
